This Rollin Light Recessed Lighting features two versatile modes, allowing users to switch effortlessly between Daylight Downlight Mode and a Night Light Mode using a standard wall switch. The night mode offers a warm, 2200K glow that creates a cozy ambiance.
In the default downlight mode, users can set their desired color temperature (choose from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) on the wire box before installation. To switch between downlight and nightlight modes, users can quickly toggle the wall switch ON-OFF-ON within 2 seconds. The nightlight mode can only be activated using the wall switch.
To reset and synchronize the lights, users can turn them off for more than 8 seconds via the wall switch, and they will automatically revert to downlight mode. This process can be repeated if necessary.
The 4-inch version of these lights uses 9W in downlight mode and 3W in night mode, effectively replacing 80W and 25W incandescent bulbs, respectively. They deliver a bright 750 lumens with an 80+ CRI for vivid color rendering. Users can enjoy energy-efficient, dimmable lighting adjustable from 5% to 100% to suit any time of day.
These recessed lights are compatible with most types of dimmers, including smart and standard ones. For best results, it is recommended to use a one-way dimmer switch, with each light connected to one dimmer only. If using three-way switches (control from multiple locations), it is advised to combine one dimmer switch with one standard non-dimming three-way switch to avoid continuous flickering.
The recessed lights are ETL, FCC, and Energy Star certified, ensuring they are safe for direct contact with insulation and suitable for use in damp environments like kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor soffits.
Designed for both retrofitting and new installations, these ultra-thin, low-profile fixtures can be quickly installed without flickering or buzzing. Users simply need to cut a hole using the provided template, connect the lights to existing wiring, and secure them with spring clips. (Note: An electrician is needed or the wiring modification must be completed before installation.)
